Open-mindedness vs Minimisation

We should be open…

Open to receive from others; to be corrected, to be helped, to be encouraged, to be loved, to be challenged, to be inspired…

We are not yet there; there is always a yonder to go, a height to scale, a new level to experience, a state to enter, a joy to know…

Opening yourself to the opportunities to come does not in any way minimise you to others who have gone ahead, known better, and explored the greater realities of life. For them, it is a privilege they should be grateful for but it does not make them superior to those coming behind.

…but my people perish for lack of knowledge.

What makes man to shut down all his logic because of the looming display of another man’s idiosyncrasies? To me, when revelation is genuine; it shines brightly as the sun at noonday compared to every light of man’s invention. Which means a true revelation represents a glory too beautiful for logic to describe (or deny). Logic is not necessarily shut down for if it was the so called revelation will be lame in my mind.

The light of logic as a fluorescent cannot compete with the light of the sun at noonday. Hence, no matter what you see in men, let it never turn down your logic for if it is a real revelation that will liberate your spirit, it will ‘sweat-lessly’ dwarf the best expression of your logic.

…no need to minimise yourself to others because of their great show. By all means, respect them, learn from them (if there is anything to learn) and look out for a revelation that calls your logic to question without requiring you to downsize it. Such revelations are priceless and usually guarantees a quantum leap in all areas of life.
